Jon and Kate’s Televised Divorce

These reality television parents have been the talk of the tabloids ever since their marriage of 10 years hit a downward spiral.  What began as innocent and inevitable arguments and disagreements that all couples experience, especially a couple that has 8 children, has become much more as Jon and Kate can’t quite seem to kiss and make up.  What with the allegations of Jon cheating on Kate with a younger woman, and the increasing tension between the two on and off the air, unfortunately, a reconciliation doesn’t seem to be in the cards for them.

In fact, as of Monday the couple has made the decision to solidify their separation and file for divorce.  While this decision will end their 10 year marriage, it apparently will not put an end to the filming of their show on TLC, Jon & Kate Plus Eight.  The ex-couple have agreed to continue filming the show as they go through their divorce, but just do so on an individual basis.  Kate will film separately from Jon and visa verse.

Personally, this decision seems a bit selfish and invasive, especially when their 8 adorable children are involved.  Divorce is a very private and sensitive matter and in choosing to broadcast it for the world to critique and analyze, they are only asking for even more drama and problems to surface.

Sadly, i do have to admit that it will make for great television and I wouldn’t be surprised if the shows ratings skyrocket.

They say distance makes the heart grow fonder, unfortunately, this is not the case in every relationship… Especially when it comes to the long distance marriage between Billy Joel and wife Katie Lee.  For this couple, distance in fact makes the eyes wander…or at least Katie’s eyes.

Billy Joel’s crazy tour schedule keeps him away from his bombshell wife for months at a time.  However, it doesn’t seem like Katie is too upset at his absence.  Instead of missing her hubby and eagerly awaiting his return from tour, Katie is embracing her “alone” time by hanging out and getting down with another man.

36 year old Yigal Azrouel has been Katie’s designer and close “friend” for over a year now.  The two have become extremely close in the time that Joel has been on tour and have been seen out together on multiple occasions.

In the beginning, Joel just thought that the two were really good friends and was happy that Katie had found a companion to keep her occupied while he was away.  Humm..well I guess Yigal really did occupy her…in the bedroom.

Billy has not made any final decisions as to whether or not he is going to give his two-timing woman a second chance,  or ditch her to find another 20-something year old.  Either way, again, Hollywood gives us yet another great example as to why MARRIAGE CAN WAIT!

Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler…”It’s Over!”…Again…

Looks like the on-again off-again couple is OFF…again.  I wonder how long their supposed break up will last this time?  My guess is no more than a week.  Maybe the reason these two are always calling it quits just to jump right back in, is because they have really good make up sex…humm…you just never know?

Travis and Shanna’s relationship has been a roller coaster ride from the very beginning.  The unstable couple has been though a lot, including a reality television show stint, two kids, a divorce, Travis’s near death plane crash, and now an alleged affair?  Yup…the drama is nowhere near being over as the couple decides to spilt again (we have lost count on the number) after a vicious argument erupted over Shanna’s so called affair with movie star hottie, Gerard Butler.  Apparently, while Travis was hospitalized after barely surviving a brutal plane crash, the former Miss America and mother of two was busy enjoying Butler’s chiseled abs.

While it may seem like Shana is insensitive, this is not the case…AT ALL.  Yesterday, Moakler lashed back in her official blog that she is sick and tired of having her character and morality bashed.  She explains that at the time of the plane crash, Travis and her were very much committed and she stood by his side for love and support.  However, after he was well enough to return to LA, she discovered  romantic emails from numerous women that confirmed Travis’ lies and infidelity.

Shana is not the only one who is at fault here.  Both individuals engaged in wrongful acts and expressed inappropriate behavior, and BOTH should take responsibility for their mistakes.  Travis Barker needs to grow some balls and admit that his ex wife is not the only one at fault here.  I mean, come on…What do you expect your significant other to do if she finds erotic emails from women who are not her?  You can bet she will go find herself some loving too.  Duh!

Maybe if they both apologize they can decide to reconcile their differences for the thousandth time and get back together, AGAIN.  Blah!

Leanne Rimes Booty Call

If you’re not getting any at home, then you must be getting it somewhere!  Which brings me to the subject of the latest in celebrity gossip… Leanne Rimes and her supposed scandal with costar Eddie Cibrian.  The “happily” married country sweetheart allegedly has been getting some booty behind her husband’s back.  Naughty, naughty.  To confirm the allegations, a video surveillance camera caught the scandalous pair exchanging much more than just words at a Los Angeles eatery.

So, what is Leanne’s poor husband, Dean Sheremet, doing while his unfaithful woman is sucking face with her costar hottie?  Getting blasted on a morning news station in Michigan for apparently being gay.  I bet you didn’t see that one coming, and neither did I, but you heard right!  While Dean Sheremet’s wife is busy getting some booty, he is busy getting his sexuality questioned by his friends and family.  Ouch!

Ok, so cheating sucks, especially when you are married, but, which is worse, a cheating wife or a gay husband?  My conclusion is this:  Leanne Rimes cheated on her husband because he is gay.  Obviously he is not giving her what she needs to be sexually satisfied.  How can you blame her for pursuing a man that actually enjoys a woman’s company? Bottom line: everyone needs some loving.

Moral of the story:  Marriage can wait! You would think that if you dated long enough, you would figure out if your husband was gay.    Duh!

Presidential Love Affairs = Costly Sex

This wonderful debate squabble between Alan and Sean on Fox’s Hannity and Colmes, really highlights the costs of cheating. The costs of an affair are so deeply damaging in so many ways, and not just for superstar politicians, but for us all. It really makes me feel so strongly about wanting to avoid marriage. The worst thing I can imagine is committing to a life-long vow, then being the jerk that cheats and destroys my “love” and my honor. I know that if I run with glassware, I’ll probably break it… so I’m going to avoid it!
